Ok. I have a Buell Pro-Series Exhaust. I have decided to go ahead and get it ceramic coated this winter. Now, the only decision is which color? I have a 2005 Blue Blast. I was thinking a semi gloss black would look nice. Ideas? |

Well, let's see. The first thing you did wrong is have a blue Blast. Everybody knows black is the fastest. Black is always a good choice for an exhaust. Chrome, in my opinion, is seriously overdone. If you want contrast, white would work well, and be unusual, with the drawback that road dirt would be easy to spot. If road dirt is an issue, you could use a color that matches your local road dirt. If you like the blue theme, a matching blue coat would be the ticket, while still being unusual. |

Any thoughts about Repsol team orange? I was thinking it would contrast well with the Blue, and if I did the wheels in the same color, it would look sweet..... or not... |

The bright "chrome" (it does not look just like chrome, but you get the picture) is nice and if it gets dulled from road grime it can be buffed with very fine steel wool to a new appearance. |

regular silver ceramic - already matches all the silver parts of the bike. whatever color, go with full gloss - it'll change to "semi-" soon enough... |

IMHO: Any colour could look cool, orange seems like a nice contrast, blue to match the bodywork, but in reality there's a reason why a lot of stuff gets painted black, especially exhausts-much easier to maintain. Unless your very obsessive about cleaning, I vote for flat black. I think it will give you less headaches. |

I am doing semi-gloss black on the exhaust, and repsol iridescent orange on the wheels. Exhaust at the end of the month, and the wheels probably in March. Will post Pics when complete. I think its going to look tight. |
