Sorry to be so nieve, but what is a Dongle and how might I go about making on. If I need Deutch connectors thats no problem. Thanks for the help. |

It's just a connector for pulling trouble codes, or connecting a computer. Instructions for making one below. Note: These apply to EFI vehicles only.

For convenience, you can put the wire in to the mating connector, so you don't have to remember which wires to connect. I've seen complete assemblies on sale on ebay and other sites for way more than the 6 bucks worth of parts. I cut off part of the code transmission text, but I can post it if you want it. |

You want professional? When I build them for customers, I always match the wire colors to their bike. |

No, anal is when I wipe all my fingerprints off the parts before assembly, and off the assembled dongle before I hand it over to the customer. |

Jos51700 For what it's worth my X1 is black so I got a black deutch connector and used a black wire. Also used a extra female connector to keep anything from getting in the connectors. All empty pin holes have the deutch blank plugs in them. It called attention to details. |
