Sorry to bother you guys with this. I'm at work and on the way home want to pickup some Allen head screws and bolts the same thread as the screws that hold the body panels on the 1125R. Does anyone have the size? Im guessing 6mm. Thank you, Doug |

6 mm and They have a "step or shoulder" to prevent overtightening and damaging the plastic. (Message edited by teach on November 25, 2008) (Message edited by teach on November 25, 2008) |

you probably wont be able to find that type of screw at ur hardware store, but u never know. regular 6mm screws, then get some tubing to cut for a spacer. |

Too much of a hassel to change all the hardware. I would just invest in a T30 Torx socket 1/4 inch drive,3/8 drive, Screw Driver with a T30 Torx end on it. I also have a bunch of 1/4" hex drive bits, many sizes torx and allen, with a few choices of drivers. Mini ratchet, hand drivers etc. |

No, I'm not changing anything. I'm mounting my brackets for FlexiGlass pod/sidepanels & bellypan that I got from Grand Stand Designs. If you look on each side of the engine toward the front there is a mounting point that takes the same thread as the panel screws. On the right mine is empty and on the left there is a screw holding a mounting bracket that I can also use. I'm used panel screws last night to hold my brackets in place while I made the brackets and installed Dzus fasteners to mount the panels. I just needed to know what thread the panel screws are so I can pick some up on the way home in about an hour. You guys are reading too much into my simple question. |

Sorry, I answered the "other" thread. 6mm x 1.0 are the body fasteners. Back of the parts book has the fasteners listed. Z |

Thanks Zack. Stopped at lowes and stocked up on 6X1 bolts that will work for my purpose just fine. Those fairings are nice. Won't make me go faster but they do look good. |
