For convenience, you can put the wire in to the mating connector, so you don't have to remember which wires to connect. I've seen complete assemblies on sale on ebay and other sites for way more than the 6 bucks worth of parts. I cut off part of the code transmission text, but I can post it if you want it. | ||

No, anal is when I wipe all my fingerprints off the parts before assembly, and off the assembled dongle before I hand it over to the customer. | ||

Jos51700 For what it's worth my X1 is black so I got a black deutch connector and used a black wire. Also used a extra female connector to keep anything from getting in the connectors. All empty pin holes have the deutch blank plugs in them. It called attention to details. | ||
