I hope to go next year and was looking at the seating layout. The only races I've been to are at Barber where it's open type seating. Looks like everything at Miller is reserved grandstand seating. The Tooele grandstand in the south east corner looks good but it hard to say. Where's a good place to sit? Where's the general admission seats? |

No responses yet? OK... I sat in the Tooele grandstand this year, it was OK. You're in the shade, there's food and toilets behind the grandstand and a jumbotron right across the track. There's also separate parking for that end of the track so you can park your bike within a couple hundred yards of the grandstand. The downside is that it's a LONG trek to the pit areas. If you're also a Ducati owner, Ducati Island is only 100 yards away so that was nice. As far as the view, Miller is too flat and spread out to be a great spectating track but Tooele and the Ford Drive One grandstands are as good as anything else there. Definitely bring binoculars. |
