Took a short but very fun ride this afternoon and had a beautiful sunset to boot.

Nice sunset Julie! I took a ride over to Frank's place. I left several hours after sunset and had a cold ride home. Thankfully, I had my rain pants, neck gaiter, and a non-motorcycle rain jacket that I put on under my riding jacket. That made the trip very tolerable. |

Jason, did you have a place in mind? I do not know if I will be able to get out. I spent my day off from working overtime trying to get caught up on stuff and still have work to do. Feel free to drop by before or after your ride... Frank |

i probably shouldn't go anywhere. i was going to replace my air filter and see what it takes to change the plugs. i haven't been able to find out what type of plugs it takes. i need to get a service manual. |

November Sunday Ride in Colorado!
I got out and enjoyed the sun on my XB9S today. Most of the time I spent driving very slowly, enjoying the low end torque and the views to the left and to the right. Lack of pavement isn't too big of a concern, as long as the dusty trail doesn't get wet and frozen!
The picture on top was just below South Park at an elevation of about 9200 feet and a temperature of about 35dF. I had to head down to Cotopoxi quickly and then fly east down highway 50 to get back at sundown. |

Happy Turkey day too. Mike and I got the Buells out for a ride up towards Evergreen, over to highgrade, conifer and back(yesterday). Joined up with two yamaha r6's that tried to hang with us up highgrade...no contest. Julie, remember the hay trailer. I ate two much! John |

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Lynn and I just returned from a great weekend with friends in Breckenridge. The drive home was a little dicy over Hoosier Pass but we made it ok. Can you spot the Buell rider in this picture?

Glad you all had a great Thanksgiving. Oh yea, John, I remember the hay trailer, all too well. So the r6's couldn't keep up? I wonder why. Frank, I think I see the Buell rider, maybe. The only problem, he's surrounded in white. Stay warm and dry. It's suppose to be almost 60 degrees tomorrow. |

whew, we're FINALLY on-line!!! High Country H-D/B is once again a BadWeB sponsor. In other news... I got a cable for ECMSpy last week. It's finally warm enough to go out to the garage for a while and play. Zack |

Z, Does esmspy work with 2008 & 2009's. I was under the impression that it only worked on 2007 and earlier. I use it on my 2004 and others in the club to do tps setups. Curious to see how you do with it. JC |

Hi John, Dan thinks it only works on the 2007's and older. But he thinks it's in the works for the newer models. He was out in the garage today changing some settings on our bikes. Now we just need to ride them. Maybe tomorrow after church. Have a nice day |

Got the driver for the cable loaded and got the laptop and Loretta talking. Monitored a slew of things, some I understood. Zeroed out a low fuel historic DTC. Couldn't read the firmware rev or download the maps. Promising... Z |

Z, Keep us posted on how you do with it. Julie, One of these days, I have to get in a good discussion with Dan on exactly what he has learned and is doing with ECM spy. Have a good ride today. Will ride too. John |

You guys be careful as there is still a lot of sand on the road. I went for a little ride on the XB yesterday and will try to get the S2T and S1W out for a short putt around the area. It took a long time for the tires to get warmed up. Looks like it will hit 60 degrees or better here today! |

We went for a nice ride on Sun. Did our usual 90 mile trip that included Franktown and into Palmer Lake. And, yes, there was plenty of sand on the road so did have to be careful in the corners. Had the heated gear on and you wouldn't have known it was even cold out. VERY NICE!! Dan's been working with the ECM. My bike is running great but he's having some problems with his. He's thinking it's either the fuel injectors or the fuel pump. Hopefully it's nothing serious. |

Glad you didn't slide on the gravel! I just got back from a week in Tennessee visiting family and friends. It's just too gloomy back east. Colorado is home now! I noticed a lot of gravel and sand on the roads driving back from the airport. |

I took the XB12R out on Saturday and the S2T out on Sunday. Sunday was a much nicer day. I don't have heated gear besides gloves but they were not needed down South. After my short ride I started back on the 95 S2. Of course I am on a biz trip right now in VA. It is about 40 degrees out but nice with no wind. Did I mention how much I hate flying, rental cars, not knowing the town, and trying to find a hotel after dark. Oh well I made it safe and sound now to figure out where I need to go tomorrow... I talked to Lynn and it looks like you all are getting some snow. Frank |
