Well picked up my new 09 1125R on Saturday, I was going to remove the noid but will leave this for a while since the engine responds properly to a blipped throttle on downshift which the other 08 1125R I have ridden in the past did not, not ridden an 08 with the latest reflash though.
A remus can has already been ordered to get over the condensation issue on the rear brake.
One complaint - Ex works my 06 XB12R had reasonable quality Torx bolts holding on the bodywork, the 09 1125R has what appear to be unplated "black" Torx screws which at first glance appears to be a cost cutting exercise and is out of place, whilst the Torx head is the same size the thread size is smaller so I cannot simply use spare bolts form the Firebolt. Overall though I am very impressed.

I'm thinking of going the Remus route if (and WHEN) the stock muffler starts looking like a rusty piece of crap (something that appears to be a Buell trademark). Until then, I'll keep the stocker.

I don't have an issue with the exhaust on the rear disk because, although I do use the rear brake, I rely primarily on that hellaciously strong FRONT brake to safely bring me to a stop.

The Torx bolts are NOT the same!!!

The 1125 uses T30, the XBs use T27.

Haha. It took me a while before I realized that. You can use a T27 in a T30 bolt....}for a while.

The black was used to show that they are metric where as the silver torx heads are standard thread.

I don't understand why you would want a Remus exhaust when the TM exhaust produces ~19 HP more at the rear wheel. Please educate me.

Well...One reason might be TM hasn't produced a final product yet. A second reason is someone is screwing with their dyno numbers. because Remus shows this graph:

http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/images/283_3.j pg

which shows an over HP increase and a smooth line. The graph includes the exhaust with and without the "powerizer"

Then TM post a graph like this:

http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/artikelen/64 537C5A-6DF8-4BB3-BF7A-059B03D567F6.jpg

Showing the Remus getting destroyed BY THE STOCK EXHAUST. Someone needs to either go back to dyno school or quit pulling numbers out of their butt. I know there will be a difference in numbers depending on the environment during runs, but for it to be that different? Remus is a BIG exhaust company, would they really make a product that would be beat so easily by a stock pipe? idk...but tread softly when comparing such numbers.

"Remus is a BIG exhaust company, would they really make a product that would be beat so easily by a stock pipe?"

Happens every day on a lot more subjects than this!

The dyno numbers from twin motorcycles are with remapping via a race ecu.

BIG DIFFERENCE.

The person doing the major dyno work at twin motorcycles does NOT need further education. PERIOD.

So fine...the guys are remus are lying douche bags. I don't care which are. I'm just saying that someone is f*cking up. I did recognize that there was a race ecm involved. Apposed to what you think of me, I did read a little of what Remus and TM had to say. But for the stock pipe to do so well on the TM charts and the Remus one to do so bad, I said SOMEONE had to screw up. I wasn't trying to dis your buddies at TM or the folks at Remus, but I don't like getting led around by the nose with these numbers contradicting this much. I wasn't even comparing the TM to the Remus. I was comparing the Remus in both graphs to the stock and showing the grand difference.

Again...I have nothing to go on with TM as they haven't produced a final product and no one has any more info. I was considering the TM myself based on their numbers. I was also considering the Remus as they posted good numbers at the time. I was then thrown off by what I was previously stating, and that was how the numbers were not meshing up.

Take whatever exhaust you want. I was just answering his question. If he wants and exhaust now...TM hasn't made one yet. Just like Drummer.

Steel...

No one said remus was lying.

You should care if anyone is lying.

Who is f*cking up? I don't think neither did, as far as I understand.

Who cares what anyone thinks of you? I don't think that is why we are here. But if it matters, your all good in my eye if you'd look a little deeper...

WHO IS THE SOMEONE THAT SCREWED UP? Neither did. They both "did" it differently and that is why the big difference in dyno results.

I never said you were dissin' my buddies? I've never shook their hand but I would buy anyone with a Buell 1125 a round! ...yourself included!

What contradictions are you still wondering?

Many have made exhausts that don't measure up. Many more are working on those that do.

The stocker is tuff to beat, for sure...proven now.

We all share, we all learn and we all benefit by...being it factual, to go forward on.

Chill brother...we are going to get through this! : )

WE are just coming up on 2nd quarter...
