I have a profound interest in the front fairing/fascia..... And that XB is definitely the cats a$$... Anyone know where that front fascia came from? Chase |

That is one sick looking Buell. A lot of nice looking work there. |

"did somebody mock up a Buell Super Motard in the 450cc range?....." No, well not exactly. Some one took a studio pic of the bike that can be seen: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/414219.html?1226884703 and photochoped a Buell logo where the TM racing logo was. |

No worries, neither thread had any buell spy pix. Original poster might have thought they found some juicy info, but they were immediately counter by me. Then I guess they decided to withdrawal their claims/announcements. |

That bike was at Homecoming last year. Chase, I can't remember exactly, but the headlight was either a flipped 'Busa, Gixxer light, or some other ricer headlight, I asked him about it. Swingarm is a flipped Triumph, IIRC. |

Great looking bike. It took a while for me to spot that the front had two disks. (Message edited by ducbsa on November 17, 2008) |

Can you imagine what would happen to the rear brake if the chain snapped? Oh right. Nothing. It's a Buell. Awesome bike. |

in that first picture of the bike where the rider is getting on it, what color orange is that X1 in the background? It doesn't look like molten orange to me. Looks like someone got a hold of some Lamborghini paint. |

That headlight is nearly exactly the same shape as the one on my '04 GSXR1000. It isn't flipped, but the internals look different. Mine just has two bulbs. That is a great looking bike. Finally, a custom Buell that arguably improves on what came from the factory. Bill |

That bike was built by Pete at GrandStand Designes (a sponsor here) in collaboration with the 23 year old who's name I don't know. I'm sure Pete can give you details, give him a call. |

Pete also has a kit to put a 240 rear tire on an XB. A little to wide for me but it looks cool for the street. |

Yeah, one of the other pics, gives a better angle... I like it... and think it would flow well with mine.... Stains... I will look into it... thanks... Chase |

Yeah, I knew the headlight was from a busa or gixxer, and modded a bit. Guess it wasn't flipped. I asked him a ton of stuff that he did to that bike when I saw it last year at Homecoming (24th). I'm pretty sure he tried selling it as well. |
