I'm doing my 10,000 mile service myself but don't have a manual yet. I need to know how much fluid goes into each front fork. I haven't bought a manual yet because I'm not sure I'm going to keep this bike, it's been such a pain in my azz since I bought it! I've owned it for 6 months now, and 2 and a half months of that time, it's been in the shop trying to get it's surging and shifting problems resolved. Any info on the fork oil would be appreciated! Bart: You want pages 2-62 through 2-64 in the service manual. There is a procedure for using a tool to measure. It is a distance from a point, not a volume of fluid. I'm still recovering my Mac applications and don't have the scanner going yet. If you don't get it, report here and I'll shoot a photo with a camera and post it. Court |
