2 spacers for left 50470-99y, 2 for right 50471-99y, 4 steel washers b0816.1bl, 1 torx bolt aa0406.11cvb, 2 bolt ca0043.k, 2 bolt aa.0532.3cbbl, 1 nylon washer ba0409.6bl, 1 bracket m0682.k, 1 well nut m0705.3, 1 bolt a1255.2cuzb, 1 nut d1200.2cz, 1 protective tape c3009e. all of these parts are available except the ca0043.k is currently on back order. also the kit calls for 4 o-rings with a part# of 11071y, but i've run this number several times and the computer says it does'nt exist. |

We have those "kits" in stock, see http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/A17039.html and http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/A17039-1.html These kits were a real problem to assemble for a long time, as Buell had mis-packaged a whole bunch of the spacers, with short ones in the long spacer bag (or vice versa, can't remember). Took forever to get it resolved, but we have several in stock. As far as the banke shifter goes, in order to use the chin cowl, you need the X1 2 piece pivot block instead of the M2/S3 "skeleton" block. I can get those pivot blocks, and it makes a couple of those spacers unnecessary. Al |

The kit from American Sport Bike it good. I put a spoiler from a 2000 X1 to my 2000 M2. Instructions are a little sparce but it assembles fine. Just take your time. |

I got that kit form Al this week too. He's gone to the trouble (yes, that's his job but still...) of putting together all the parts instead of leaving us to deal with the parts guys and hoping we've gotten all the right stuff - then waiting several weeks to find out a washer was back ordered and will be in next month... Thanks Al! Still need to paint the chin so it'll be a bit before I get it mounted, maybe this weekend if I can make the time. |

So,what does it need to put the chin fairing on a Cyclone using the 01-up Buell shifter? Can one go with the X1 2 piece pivot block as well? Ralph |

to put the chin fairing on a Cyclone using the 01-up Buell shifter all you need to do is open up the rear hole on tha left side to go over the shifter pivot.

When I put the updated shifter on my bike I got the X1 piece (I have foot peg relocators and thought there'd be less fiddling with the reach and all that) so I already had the two piece pivot. Haven't opened up the hardware kit yet, I hadn't considered it before but I've probably got an extra two piece pivot block thingy now. But yeah Ralph, that or cut up the chin fairing a bit like Crazyhorse, but he's kinda crazy... with the way our motors shake I'd prefer to have plastic bits as secure as possible, to keep them from flopping around and breaking off. Russ I'm sure that carbon chin fairing looks sweet, did they get you a replacement fender too? |

She's cleaning up nicely! (I just tossed mine into the dishwasher after cleaning it with simple green, I want it totally degreased before I try to paint it. The wife didn't even mind). Let me know if you need a hand moving heavy stuff when you find a new place. |

Ralph, I was wrong about that mounting block (no extra parts came in the kit, just fasteners, spacers, a bracket and some rubber washers and a wellnut), but I'll bet I can get that PN# for you without too much trouble. |
