Garmin Quest GPS. Not the official HD version, but the same without the dealer locator. HD version cost $600.00 IIRC. I paid $395.00. The unit comes with all the accessories, CD's, manuals, windshield mount, and the handlebar attachment. I've used it in my truck a few times, mostly as a trip computer. I've never used it on a bike. I've realized I'm just not a GPS guy. I'd rather use a map or wander aimlessly. Make me a reasonable offer before it goes on Craig's List or ebay. If your serious, I can send a pic. |

I tried to sell my Buell Quest a year and a half ago, I think the highest offer I got was about $90, for a GPS that I just spent $700 on a few months before. I still have it, its the backup one in my car now. |

How well does this thing hold up to vibration? Would it withstand being used off road on my Uly as well? Never had a GPS before but have been considering it lately... |

The antenna joint on the Quest can be a bit fussy. But if it does fail, a $10 (literally) external antenna on ebay will get you going again, and gets a lot better reception anyway. The rest of the Quest is unbelievably durable, more then I would have thought possible. |

Brakes2late, It does great off road. Only weakness, as said before is the crappy antenna. It broke 4 months in, my dealer gave me a whole new one. That one broke 3 months later. I did get an external antenna, and never had a problem since, including off roading, several crashes, submerged when I dumped the bike in a river, hard impacts from wheelies, and about everything else I could think to do to it. |
