Thump, that CR setup looks great!

How do you like the riding position, and are you a tall person?

How wide are they?

Are you interested in running the stock flyscreen? I've figured out a couple mods to make it fit better with forward bars if you're interested.

As requested by Indy:

EZ- There is no info on the package. Fly is the brand, and they came with a pad for dirt bikes. They cost $50.

Johnnymac: Yeah the black looks a lot better imo and was a major factor in the purchase.

Berkshire: Thanks
I like the riding position a lot better. A bit more pressure on the wrists though. I can tell that long rides will be more trouble. I'm about 2 feet taller than most..........children. 5'8". I can tuck in much easier now with a lot more control.

Right now I am going for a nekid/minimilist look, so I am leaving off the screen for now. A wise man pointed out that was an oxymoron while running those CR clubmans. I shaved the brackets anyways. Take a look at the first pic.

I have seen someone make a custom bracket for it, however,I don't see why a regular Blast bracket couldn't be adapted to work.

To mount a firebolt fairing just needs ingenuity in making your own brackets. Wiring should be fairly simple.

Indybuell, that grass is what grass looks like in the promised land, maybe someday if we are real, real good, we can go there.

I was going to ask the same question. It looks like the rear brake pedal is still there, but a bike with no front brake would scare the bajezus out of me.

Where did you get that picture, Ed? Do you know who makes the frame? There is a front brake on that bike, BTW.

That was the Crossroads Bobber - a sweet bike that was sold asap when put up for sale and never been heard of since - American Sport Bike has the design for the adapters for using a regular Sportster hard tail frame - if you ask they'd probably send you a copy for a price. I agree and think it still is the nicest chopper besides the Redneck Mutants.

Here is a pic I found of Justibuni in action - mind you she does all her own wrenching and installed a stage 3 kit on her Blast - the woman is a born wrench!

Jardine with my recommended usage of the stock lower front mounting gear - she did finally realize that lots of wheelies means periodic Isolator change outs - lol

With her project bike, she now owns a CBR for a daily rider.

That woman wrenched her own Blast to get some great numbers, and she did her own repair work as well. She wrecked it going a bit too hot in a corner. The next pic was her showing her recovery on her then new project Cafe bike - she says she still pulls stunts on her project bike, but "cruises" her
daily rider

Her idea of cruising is PDQ.

You guys all have some great-looking bikes! I'd love to have a Blast as a project, but I'm too strapped for cash... all my $$$ is going toward an Ss-to-Firebolt conversion right now....

Cool stuff though!
