I stopped in at Bluegrass HD and Buell in Louisville today and much to my delight they had some Buell stuff. I grabbed a shirt and hat and started looking around...... There sat a new S2 and X1... NEW! I don't know what to say... I'm sure someone will come up with something... |

I remember a post a while back, some dealer (don't know if it was the same one) had some new untitled tubers for sale. They were asking MSRP, and personally I can't blame them, good luck finding another one! |

Eastern Harley Davidson in Riverhead New York, (eastern Long Island), as about half a dozen new tubers. I think he may have lowered the prices to MSRP, or even slightly lower. |

Wow, nothing on their website. They really want to get rid of them. Like some crusty old harley rider is going to just stroll in and say: "Damn yall still have new tubers, i'll take 2!" |

Some things never change. In 1998, I was looking to buy an S3-T, so I went to all the dealers around New England to see who'd give me the best deal. When I went to Precision in Pawtucket, they had a '96 S2-T and a '97 S3 at full MSRP and no '98s at all. I stood in front of the Buells for 45 minutes, and caught the salesman's eye a couple of times. He was too busy to get off his dead ass to talk to me. I finally left. |

Were they for sale? Yep How much? I didn't ask. If they have been sitting there for that long I wouldn't think it would be low enough to make ya go "WOW, I gotta have that" |

that x1w is one fine looking motorcycle. No road grime, and no discoloration on that pretty blue header. she makes me drool. Though that price is is kinda scary. Thats more than they sold for when they was the new model isn't it? |

+1 on pics of the S2, please. I'd LOVE to see what a new one actually looks like (aside from the one at the Buell factory - although the *4 MILE* S1W was pretty damned sweet too! Hmmm...now, to talk the wife into letting me buy a NEW S2, with full warranty. LOL. |

Not sure how many of you realize this, but the S2 is really a find, that was the last model (more-or-less, Court?) that was nearly 1/2 Buell, 1/2 HD owned, and it's got many hand-made components, a lower CG, and the removable rear isolator plates that allow for FAST belt-changes. I'm very interested in learning more about what's up with that machine. By the time the S3 came around, the machines were notably revised so as to allow for simpler manufacturing, with less of an emphasis on handling. Also- the early Buell/sportster engine is very reliable and can go for hundreds of thousands of miles |

Bluegrass' website shows no sign of this S2, but a phone call, alter today, might tell more. I know my S2T went for around $13,000 new, in California, it would be interesting to see what these geniuses are asking for their S2. |
