So some idiot backed into my bike and ran off. It knocked it on the right side. It appeared that the only damage was a broken turn signal and some scratched plastic. However, I've noticed that I have to keep the bars turned slightly to the left in order to keep the bike riding in a straight line. I am hoping and praying that the forks aren't bent but I'm afraid that they are. When I sit the bike straight up and keep the bars straight and look at it from the front, I notice that the wheel is slightly turned. If anyone has any ideas as to what I could do to repair this or if the bike its basically totaled I would appreciate it. By the way, the bike is very rideable, its just really anoying that I have to turn the bars a little to ride straight ahead. I'm still kicking myself for not buying those frame pucks. . Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Chances are that the forks just shifted in the triple trees. Loosen the pinch bolts on the triple trees just slightly. Straddle the front wheel and twist the handlebars in the direction to straighten everything out and retighten the pinch bolts. Let us know if that works for you. SteveH |
