Bearly, I was down at Winchester HD on a Sunday with a couple of Harleys. 3 weeks ago. I was looking around for a fast ULY! K |

I went to Winchester H-D about 3 wks ago too. But it was on Saturday. Nice ride! I recall seeing one Buell. It was on 340 and it was a black & red Firebolt heading North. I was going south. It was where the road is divided by a grass median well past Harpers Ferry. |

I was thinking of taking up being a pole dancing instructor. Do you have experience in that department? |

I'll volunteer to be the pole so long as it's a girls only class. |

I used to work in the performing arts as a lighting designer, rigger, and audio engineer...I'll be happy to contribute my industry 'experience' to the cause and help critique your progress as you learn a new trade |

Sorry Babired, I was working in the Bahamas again. I'm home tomorrow though. I just might have lunch out at HD Winchester. If you go their to eat, ask for the "Bear Special". Roast Beef, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese and spicy mustard all toasted. MMMMM.... |

Ahhh....a Road Couch. I nearly miss mine, if it weren't for the Uly I'd definitely miss it. Although, the Uly doesn't come close to having the "keep away from me" image that my FLHP had, LOL.

Okay Guys I need your advise on this one. I have never done anything with e-Bay before but its looking more and more like a scam to get my money. what the guy selling the bike wrote: Hi, I want to tell you that we will use eBay in this transaction in order for both of us to be 100% protected and insured by them.eBay will supervise this transaction so there won`t be any problems. They will take care of the shipping and all the small details. You will get the vehicle and you will have 7 days of inspection in which you can decide if you buy the vehicle or not.If you won`t like my vehicle (not your case) you announce eBay and you send the vehicle back(the shipping back is insured by the shipping company),if you want to keep it you announce eBay you send the money(payment method and all the details will be set up by eBay)and you keep the vehicle. eBay will send you an invoice at your email in which you will see how to start the this transaction and in which you can see that this transaction is legit. If you wish to go on please get back to me with your full name, full address so i can forward your details to eBay and open a case with no further obligations or fees. eBay will send you an invoice at your email in which you will see how to start the this transaction and in which you can see that this transaction is legit. The invoice will contain all the details of the transaction. Wait your reply. |

It doesn't look good. Where is the bike located? What is the url for the item? Don't worry, I don't want it. Paul |

Barbired, Yes this is a scam. My roommate got that same email from someone selling a ninja. So what ever you do, just dont give ANY money to them. they will most likely ask you to send the money buy moneygram to so and so..once received they will send the "bike" to you. But if you look at the message that "ebay" sends, its a fake, a very good fake at that. but it is a SCAM. |

Ferris I usually don't either. I reported them. I got an e-Bay transaction request on the e-mail this morning and sent it to e-Bay. They already responded and told me it was fake. I would have flipped the bike if it was the real deal. I've got 4 bikes in the garage The thing that got me was the VIN checked out. The only thing I can think of was the crook copied a true ad from somewhere and posted it on Craig's list here. K |

My giveaway is always the s**tty grammar. If it looks like it *wants* to be English, but isn't quite there....it's BS. Good call, glad you came out safe. |

Spotted a red Blast today at a restaurant in Burtonsville (Rte 198 near the intersection of 29). Didn't have time to stop because unfortunately I was on the way to pick up my Uly which hand stranded me on the way to work in DC. I didn't have time to break it down yet but it looks like it will end up with me needing a new intake manifold/throttle body. Yuk! The money will be bad enough, the anticipated wait time for the parts is making me nuts already |

I have to put my ULY in for the 10,000 service this week that is a personal best for me getting 10,000 miles on the odometer in one year! K |

I bought mine in November 05 and had nearly 10K before being deployed in Sept 06. Since then it's gone downhill - with an accident and another deployment I've l not put another 5K on top of that in the last two years. That's pitiful, isn't it? I was hoping to rack up some miles this fall but now, obviously, I've got mechanical issues. Oh well! |

Don - could be worse. I've only logged 2300 on my Uly since April. Pesky doctors, LOL. If you need one to ride while yours is being fixed, just drop me a note. As long as Orange doesn't offend, that is |

Wow Thanks, Joe - but I couldn't. Besides, everything I touch lately breaks. I'll remain hopeful for a quick turn on the Uly. My bet is getting the new part will be the chokepoint |

Oh, I do. I ran some errands on her on Monday (yesterday was home-based stuff - Jeep work, yardwork, installing the mower parts I picked up - ON THE ULY, lol - on Monday). I just figure, I've got three...some folks have one and it's broken...so, if I trust 'em and like 'em, I offer I'd offer 'er to you, but don't want to picture you riding around with a stepladder so you can get on and off, LOL. |
