About a month ago I bought a 52' Samsung 750. I'm blown away! I've seen plenty of HD 1080p...TVs, and this 750 is the best by far. I also calibrated it per postings on the avsforum site. I highly recommend this site for calibrations and just general faq's. All different brands and models. I'm about to watch the newest Rambo on the Blu-ray. |

I have a 52" Panasonic 1080P HD Plasma. It's got a really great glare shield instead of the shiny glass. I couldn't be happier with it. |

30" computer monitor, 2560X1600 resolution. HD TV shows I download off the web look better than my DVDs, even after the compression. Skipping on the Blu Ray. FiOs TV is on the way soon, so I guess I need to get into gear with getting my HD TV tuner working again |

A 43-inch Pioneer plasma. It's wicked old - I was an early adopter, and got it back in 2004. I think we're going to get a new one for the house in NY. They're so cheap nowadays, we may move up to 50-something inches. Maybe a new speaker system too - right now we're using an old Bose Acoustimass system run through a Sony STR-DG910, which also routes the XBox 360, Apple TV, and turntable. |

The Marine Corps thing (I may have you confused with another Badwebber) Or the "In the Navy you can sail the seven seas" thing...(Because every Jarhead will call a squid "Rumpranger") Ya know if you get enough Navy guys in a single line, none of them will be on the end.... |

At least it's daytime Dave, we get it at stupid o'clock in the morning! I still haven't managed to get my head around American Football, it seems to be; run, punch-up, throw, punch-up, commercial break..... repeat for a couple of hours. You can't beat a good 5 day Cricket test-match. You can; eat a dozen or more meals, get drunk 4 times, paint the living room, sleep 4 times, cut the grass, bake a cake or two, get to know the commentators really well, & still not miss any of the action. You might even end up with some understanding of the game! Personally I'm a Baseball fan, so I'm in withdrawal at the moment, til March. |

21" Magnavox CRT. Got it for five bucks at a yard sale. Only 4 years old. Works a helluva lot better than the 20 year old Sony tv production monitor it replaced. Has a built in tuner, speakers and remote control. I just can't understand people spending over ten bucks for a TV set, can you?
