Good one Jim. Kristi, was thinking of attending, but haven't replaced my front tire since Buelltoberfest. I have one on the way. We just delivered a red 1125cr. I invited him to stop by and say hello. |

Mike - if something changes between now and then, let me know. Winterville PD is filling out the paperwork to go and get the XB12XP for 30 days! Carlos is going down to the department to give whoever is interested a walk-around on the bike. If timing is right, I want to go with them to pick it up. Not sure if they are going to ride or trailer it back to the PD. |

Mike, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the help and guidance. This is Jim btw, not ezblast. But I'm at his house. Ed's wife made breakfast for me this morning: Yum |

I rained today in San Francisco, so no riding. But that was fine, I spent the day with Ed & his wife. No one ever starved at their house.

My wife says thats a terrible picture - lol - it is too - she says she could scare children with a picture like that! However, it was a great day! Jim - was here most of the day - we started with Monte Cristo's and OJ for breakfast followed by good coffee and touching base. The wife went out shopping and I gave him a tour and headed to the garage to show him the latest incarnations of the bikes, what is left needed for one project, and perhaps the start of a fourth project, and talk a little Buell treason. We goofed off till 3:30 - it rained all day - but I have a large covered side patio, so we fired up the BBQ, threw on some steaks, Shish-kabobs, and corn, while the wife made mashed potatoes and salad. A couple of beers later the BBQ is done and and we are in the house enjoying a tasty evening meal, with Rasberry/Apple pie for desert. I then grabbed my last two gifted cigars (very nice), grabbed two more beers, and then Jim and I headed outside where I threw some wood on the coals and watched it rain from the comfort of under the awning with fire to keep us warm, a good cigar for pleasure, and a nice Ale to keep the throat moist. Around 730 - it was starting to get dark, so it was time to let Jim head back so he could be ready and catch his early morning flight. It was a nice day - with a good exchange of ideas - NKF Bearings - hmm.. EZ |

Anybody in the Raleigh/Fuquay area know where I can get a set of tires mounted today? A friend of mine brought his bike over to my house this afternoon with the intention of pulling the wheels off and taking them to Cycle Gear to have the tires changed only to find out that Cycle Gear is too busy to change the tires today. If anyone has any suggestions for where to get the tires mounted this afternoon give me a call on my cell phone. (919-271-7109) Thanks! |

Wife and I just got back from a 350 mile ride with the Hampton Roads Hooligans. There were some beautiful roads and it was a beautiful day. There were seven Buells and eight folks all together. I had a chance to see where they like to ride. It reminded me a lot of roads around Oriental. We need to get another gathering together one day. I know Webe has been itching to show us the Virginia side of Kerr lake. Maybe next time. |

Shady - I wish I could say yes, but our morning went to hell in a handbasket pretty quickly. One of the kids we were keeping Saturday night broke the shower head deflector. Of course, we didn't find out about it until I went to get my shower. Luckily enough we had the part we needed, so Carlos started working on it so we could shower. I wasn't even sure we were going to get out the door to ride. Needless to say, after Carlos fixed the shower, we quickly got ready and rode away from the stresses of home! We are planning another ride with them when weather permits. Soccer will be done this weekend, so that frees up our Saturdays! |

Mike, we do tires on Sundays from 12 until 4. We also have a CR with the high bars sitting on the floor. (Message edited by mikethebike72 on November 03, 2008) |

Mikethebike- I was in the area this weekend and dropped by the store late Sunday afternoon. I picked up one of those new long-sleeve T's you told us about (thermal knit body w/regular sleeves). Nice! Also noticed the CR with high bars on it and sat on it. I LIKE it! |

Hugh, glad we still had those in stock. I wore mine a few chilly mornings last week. We are working on making the cr a demo bike, maybe I will get to break it in. |

maybe I will get to break it in. 500 miles right? Raleigh up to Burkes Garden, VA and back would just about do that. |

Well, what have I missed in the past 2 weeks? The parents have been gone for a week now, but with Halloween in there, I'm just getting caught up to the point where I can see what I've been missing out on here on BadWeB. U4- VERY NICE! That's RIGHT! BETTER than Christmas!!! MTB- If it's anything like the old classic Buell Thermal Shirt that I take with me on all of my moto-excursions, I know I definitely need an updated one. I don't know how soon I will make it up to Raleigh though... 1313 (Message edited by 1313 on November 05, 2008) |

I know I definitely need an updated one. I don't know how soon I will make it up to Raleigh though... MTB will be appearing in Grifton and Jacksonville the weekend of Nov 15-16. Might be worth a call to Ray Price with a CC# and Mike can deliver it when he comes east. |

I will be breaking in a Road King that weekend, so I will have plenty of room. If enough people do it, our motorclothes manager may be more driven to put all of our stuff on the internet for sale. |

I don't have either at the moment. However, I did manage to get a laptop, so if I can get my hands on a cable then ECMspy is just a download away. I saw that Brakes2Late is making another batch of cables, I'll probably buy one from him. |
