I used an airbrush on mine, blended charcoal gray and silver over top of the Firebolt logo. Looked great till I used up the helmet in my wreck back in July. For those wondering? This lid WORKS. Not that we want to think about stuff like that...but it does. Comfy, quiet, nice looking....sturdy and safe, too. Sorry, don't mean to intrude  Free bump, lol. | ||

thanks for the input Ratbuell. $100 shipped is a pretty solid price, considering its most likely going to cost atleast $15 for shipping. get a custom paintjob for it and you'd have a sweet helmet. hell i wore it for a while on my lightning. form follows function! little more info, this is a large and my fat head measures in at 7-5/8" which is the high side of most large helmet sizing and this helmet was a little snug fitting. | ||

Do you know who actually made the helmet?? Can you get a tape measure & actually check the circumference of your head? Yeh! I know major pain but I'm taking a chance buying a helmet I can't try on. | ||

not a pain, i actually just did it awhile back whe i ordered my new helmet. my melon measures in at 7-5/8". this helmet is a little bit snug on me, but not anywhere close to being uncomfortable. i dont know the actual make of the helmet off hand, but i have seen it mentioned on this site before. i want to say its either KBC, HJC or AJC, or something like that. maybe someone who knows will chime in with the exact answer.(?) Will let you know after somebody confirms the manufacture. Want to read a review before buying. All the xprts say to try a helmet on for fit but love to chisel NY out of their 8% - Cool looking lid tho | ||

HJC Sy-max. I don't think it's available anymore. I don't see it on there website.
