On the advice of an expert rider at this weekends trackday I raised my fork tubes about 1/8". If you loosen the triple clamp pinch bolts (3 of them) the fork tube will slide up with a little twisting. I found that in stock position there was a ring about 1/8" above the clamp. After raising the tube was about that same distance up with two rings now exposed. I was surprised that you could feel the turn in better at the track. Still need internal work but this did help. On the straights it still feels stable, but I do use a damper now. |

hum thats where mine are and i havent touched them. or do mean by "rings" two sets of lines with about 3/8s between them? thats how mine is with the lower line 1/8 above the triple |

Josh, from the top of my tub to the top of the triple clamp is 11/16. There are two rings showing with about 1/8 below the bottom one. Is this the same as yours? |

yah thats mine. im not sure about the 11/16 but its close. i would say ours are the same. |

Mine are uneven! Left is about 1/16th plus two rings. Right is on second ring.Whats up with that? |

im sure ur suspension will make up that difference but they are workin at different rates. best to fix it. |
