Well so far what they have found is; I had a small fuel leak on one of the hose and they say that my bike was running on one cylinder because my ECM was f@#$%d up so they replaced the ECM by a new one. I'm ok with that since the bike wasn't running well before but for the last problem where my bike was running only on one I have a hard time to believe it was my ECM am I completely lost or it doesn't make much sence? |

I find that hard to believe, but anything is possible... |

It took me forever to figure out that my bike needed a new ecm. It had all kinds of symptoms, it had me baffled for the longest, because it wasn't consistent. I got error codes for the strangest things too. Kudos to your shop for figuring it out |

Well I'm glad they found that the ECM was f@#$%d but I'm skeptical with the rest of it when they tel me it was making my bike run on only one cylinder. For the rest yep I believe the ECM was bad since the bike never ran well after the first 600 mi |

It's the ecm that decides the bike is too hot and puts it into "skip mode" So if you had a bad ecm, it could have "thought" the bike was too hot, by reading the head temp wrong. |

From what they told me the bike was alot slower than normal to warm up, and that's what lead to replacing my engine temp sensor last time because it wasn't indicating temps over 300. |

How long should it take to reach 160C if starting with a completely cold engine? I let mine idle for almost 26 minutes before it reached 160. I thought that seemed slow. In retrospect, I should have just ridden it. |

If it was running on one cylinder you would be lucky to get from a to b. |

If it was running on one cylinder you would be lucky to get from a to b. It wasn't running on one all the time; this is just the last problem that came up when I started it up last Saturday it would run only on the rear cylinder so I didn't go anywhere and the dealer came to pick it up on Monday. |
