Duggram Most of the units that have leaked were new (only done 1 - 2 meetings) and of the 9 guys I know using them 3 have leaked.(near enough to 30%?) They are all on race bikes. Just an observation not trying to bag the GPR's perhaps they are fine on road and maybe our tracks are a bit more aggressive? |

Thanks for the reply Steve. Hope I'm in the other 66% that don't have leakers. If it's that bad I'll return it and get the factory Ohlin damper. For sure I will have a damper. Only been out twice and don't like the head shake. Of course it will get better as I learn more about setting up the bike and learn how to ride. |

it's a pity there al linear in damping.. I'm trying to figure out a GRP style mount for a Ohlins damper ( SD 415 ) you can adjust the angle off damping , to make for example the first 20 deg. stiffer and the rest a little looser to make turning on tight circuits / roads a little easier. that can be a pain if the damper is set to stiff, ideally set you should have no notion of the damper being on the bike |

Just checked my bank account. Total charge for the Trojan Dampener was $539.74 W/ shipping which you only get the choice of the mail service to the US. 2-3 weeks is what they told me on delivery. 170 here we come? Hi Les, Your damper shipped today, so you will have it on Monday I believe You will notice that it has a little more bling than in the original photo Hope you like it. |

I have found that having a light grip on the bars really minimizes the head shake. Until recently, under WOT I was hanging on by the bars, which magnifies the head shake quite a bit. Now I am trying to grip with my legs (thanks gripskins) and keep my arms nice and relaxed (as close to 90 degress at the elbows as possible). |
