Hey Guys, I am unfortunately putting my 2006 City-X up for sale here first and then after a week I will be putting it up for sale on Ebay. It has over 23000 miles. Oil changes @ 5000 miles except for my last trip. 7500 miles that last time. I figured that I would give you guys a crack at it first. Most fun I have had but now it is time to sell. Divorce is costing me more than I can believe and I just need to raise some dough. The bike is in great shape. Most reliable. And the bags are less than a six months old. Brand new airbox cover. Make offers. I will refer you to the x country trip I did in the tale section to check out the bike with the bags.http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/6817/366456.html?1219569533 Let me know. Any questions can be posted here or here: tankhead10@hotmail.com. ..... All fair offers will be taken seriously. Title in hand. Soft bags will be thrown in as an added bonus. tanks gentleman. It has been fun. After the divorce is final I will be looking to buy a Uly someday. } (Message edited by tankhead on October 22, 2008) (Message edited by tankhead on October 22, 2008) |

Hey, Nah, I think it will be best if I just keep the drummer right were it is. How are you doing? |

pretty good, i'm teaching my wife how to shift on a motorcycle nowadays. i temporarily swapped my xb9sl with a friend's ninja 250 to make it easier for her to control. i guess i'll just order a spec ops instead. hit me up if you change your mind about the drummer...good luck selling. |

Oh btw the old air box is not something you want. It is cracked in various spots and the screen was removed because someone bought it from me. If I don't sell it we should go riding. |

Is this for sale? What are asking for it if it is? Do you have the original muffler? |

Yes it is for sale. The original muffler was used to create the drummer. Kevin Drum uses the can, cuts about 4 inches off, repacks it, and then installs his outlet cap. Great quality. I have the race ecm on it along with the K&N filter. Incredibly comfortable, and reliable. Make a fair offer and we can go from there. |

It also has the HVMP bar end weights that greatly reduce vibration for long trips, along with the Crampbuster. If you notice it also has aftermarket mirrors from the UK. Great bike. Hate to sell it. But it has to go. |

Sorry I am selling the bike and bags as a package deal. I could sell you the bags for $5000.00 and I would throw in the bike also. tanks |

Got home around 7 pm today. Took forever to get through Jersey and Maryland (and Knoxville). One time we went about 20 miles in just over an hour to pay a 60 cent toll. Seems like there was a toll booth every 50 miles, don't know how you guys live with that. Bike is still in the truck since we got home late and it was raining. Hopefully I will be able to ride a bit tomorrow but it supposed to only get to above 39 tomorrow. I surely hope you get a new ride in the spring. |

You took the Garden State Parkway? They took out half the tollbooths a few years ago! |
