Western-Reserve HD/Buell in Northeastern Ohio is planning a 1125R's owner meeting in the next several weeks. We are in the planning stages and are currently contacting knowledgeable people to engage in a structured format to share information and concerns. (No whining at this one!) Tuning, suspension and street riding will be addressed. Refreshments will be provided. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. Jmr1283 - Great idea, we will discount Buell stuff 15%. Also, we have some 07 Buell models at $2000 under MSRP and are waving set-up and freight. We will be selling 08 1125R's and include a 4 year extended service plan, tire and wheel coverage and a Buell full-face helmet. So, if you know of anyone... Jim p.s. No whining?!  ......Kidding folks...honestly  It seems worth the ride from Central Ohio...or Florida, for that matter! I'm doing everything I can to get along with this fall weather here!~I'm in long as the date is soon! It wasn't warm riding this morning with this latest FLASH(  ). This 08/11 is not giving up enuff engine heat for this weather...To the Rider, that is! I'll try to call on another owner or two in the area to ride up as well. Is Xb9 coming?!  Thanks Teach! I hope to finally meet you!  Almost forgot, is HD/Buell~Buell/HD flippin' for the steak, beer and motel room for the night? Come on...is it all biz, really? | ||

Slypiranna - I would like to meet you I have been really impressed with your posts. You would be welcome to join XB9 in making a presentation on tuning, etc. I met XB9 at Nelson Ledges, he was my instructor a few years ago. Best spent money of my riding career... As long as you do it on a weekend, I'm in. Of course if you wait too long I'll have to drive the cage up since it'll be snowing up there along the lake soon. BTW, great idea Teach. Maybe you could do a track day next year for us 1125er's or better yet all Buells. | ||

Pleasant words Teach but I hold you and a number of others here far above what little I've afforded to posting! I've learned a great deal by you all but still wish to learn more. I'm really interested in this meeting. It should continue our renewed positive forward movement! By "OURS", I mean BUELL inclusive. After all, it is becoming a family like experience to me. Nothing of which I've seen or "felt" in 20+ years of Yamahas! I too, have met XB9 and another from this site at mid ohio recently. Pure Great people. Great new friends. True friends. I just cannot say enuff. I hope to see you all there. Get off your tail and on that 11 and ride to NE OHiO! | ||

Sorry about the delay with info about this meeting. It is still in the planning stages and I have decided not to rush the date and risk having a meeting that may not meet the needs of the owners and since some 1125R owners are coming from a distance.... I realize that the date may preclude us from riding in, but none-the-less the priority is to have a quality meeting. The meeting will be at Western-Reserve HD/Buell and will have knowledgeable guest speakers, riders, techs and more. Be patient!! (Easy for me to say, I am impatient..) More to follow. The weather is changing fast and many might be thinking that they HAVE to ride in to attend...nah I'll drive a cage if need be...also talked to another owner today and he's in as well. Hey! Whaddabout a two day'r, seminar style!? Give more time for more information...not to mention that night on the town (saturday night?)! hint...hint! Keep us posted! MORE EVENT NEWS! Plans are moving forward for this meeting. My bike will be there with the CR accessory bar conversion and I also may have my fairing lowers and belly pan installed. (Thanks Pete at Grand Stand Designs!) We have some great presenter's, including XB9 and Slypiranna, as well as others, some surprises and there will be 20% off Buell parts, clothing and accessories and that just doesn't apply to what we have in the store! Also, at the end of the day we will have a drawing for a $100, $50 and $25 dollar gift card to be used for Buell items.
