My X1 and S1 both run the same drive belts, but I have just today tossed my last belt that ran for 40.000 km...it blew off in heavy city traffic but my problem is that the local dealers don't have a replacement...or-do they? My son who also has an X1 says that Sportster belts are identical--is that true? Please could somebody let light show on this please? I've no wheels now! |

Yes, the belts are the same. Also, the XB belt is the same too, just, NOT the 03, odd pitch.. Chase |

I think that the buell branded one is a better one but they both work fine. My current belt says "sportster" on it in orange. |

"i" put the "SPORTSTER" drive belt on my 1997 S3T so "i" could show the HARLEY-DAVIDSON Parts technician persons that they are full of "BUELLschite"and do not know their job or the the meaning of RETO-FITTING parts !!! |
