Well, I already like these people.
From the woot faq: "Will I receive customer support like I'm used to? No. Well, not really. If you buy something you don't end up liking or you have what marketing people call "buyer's remorse," sell it on eBay. It's likely you'll make money doing this and save everyone a hassle. If the item doesn't work, find out what you're doing wrong. Yes, we know you think the item is bad, but it's probably your fault. Google your problem, or come back to that product discussion in our community and ask other people if they know. Try to call the manufacturer and ask if they know. If you give up and must return it to us, then follow on to the next FAQ entry. "
Chellem their support is quite good. My first woot was a pair of wrist watch walkie talkies, and a good number of them had bad batteries. Usually they do returns for refund, but because of the massive amount of failures they got replacement batteries and sent them to those that had failures.
Also about a year ago, they were selling a leftover NOS video card, it was old Dell stock or something. The manufacturer went nuts, accused woot of selling stolen goods and refused to honor warranties. Woot stepped up to the plate and offered a 1 year warranty on the cards.
