Looking at an S1 frame/title, with front end, steel swingarm, and wheels (silver - M2?). That's it. No wiring, no rear shock, no bodywork, no brakes. Any guesses what it's worth? I know...could I ask a more random question on the internet, with *any* less information? I'm considering it as a project, either a stock rebuild or a reproduction of the first "Blast" - S1 frame with thumper motor for fun/fuel economy...and a place to hang my spare S1W bodywork |

The tube frame Blast seems like a really fine project! I guess I'm prejudiced 'cause another bike in my garage is a '70 Velocette - a 500 cc single which is a real sweetie! Please keep this site informed on the progress of this dream thumper. |

Cyclone - I don't have my book handy to give a page number, it's in the office (25 years of Buell), but there's a section on the Blast and it shows one of the first test mule bikes - nothing more than an S1 frame, suspension and body with a thumper motor. Very cool. |
