more than likely an 09. rode a CR at Mid Ohio yesterday. Besides the wet track and brand new tires and some slippage. (dont want to low side again a week later ) Its nice. Ass end seems lighter considering your sitting over the tank. It get light much faster than the 08 1125R. So Im may go for either a 08 demo or an )( 1125 R. Im so hooked on it. Its kinda sad its in my trailer in pieces waiting to get pick up. Swing arm bent. Main frame mount broke. Back rim bent. The list goes on and on. I must say that the bike did't hold up well to the crash. But Im not giving up! No more track for my 1125 when I get a new one!! For sure with a loan on it!!!! |

I've heard that turn has some teeth, you're the first one to prove it. Can't wait to do the fasttrax school next year to see what all the fuss is about regarding turn 4. |

Heres the take we have come up with...feel free to chime in guys..... I came out of turn 3 I glanced at the speedo (90) it's rough through 3 into 4 down shift 1 gear... got 2 tire bounce + lean angle= low side. skid mark indicated tire hop and my left peg posted... the rest is history. I was in a school so yes its covered thank god! I'm so bummed I loved that bike...... I think the carosel is harder than 4.. but then again...maybe not. LOL |

Tape your speedo. Everyone sez it messes with your head and is distracting. |

I'll do that "NEXT" time....... I forgot and thought it would be nice to see how fast I was in the straights. Live and learn. Now there are only 2,881 bikes alive. or something like that. |

Hey Hitman44139, Carmen, Sorry to hear about your spill..... Did I understand you correctly just above where you said you WERE covered by your insurance for this wreck due to being in a (track)school??? How did that all play out? I was under the impression that if you "track" the bike at all, you're not covered under most policies. Which insurance company covers you? I NEED THEM TOO! Good luck and stay safe. Tracy |

Hitman, I saw you at the STT event Thursday. I remember seeing your CR parked by your trailer. I was riding an 08 1125r in intermediate. What did you think of the track? I thought that the first two sessions were pretty slippery. I had my first really bike oh shit moment. I came out of Thunder Alley and thought the tires and track had a little heat and ended up pushing the front and sliding the rear at the same time. I thought I was going to high side. But the last two sessions weren't to bad. I never got a knee down but was able to pass a few people and run an ok pace. Although I had alot of people pass me like it was a hot sticky july day. I had a great time. I think I saw you talking to Dave Johnson and Rick Manett? I met Dave for the first time Thursday. I had a great time talking to him. Him seemed like a pretty cool guy. I am already looking forward to next year. |
