Would anyone happen to know, what the internals of the xbrr muffler look like? Or possibly have one that they would want to sell? I'd like to build one but for an xb9. Jim G. |

I had one that broke up on our race bike. I cut it open, the inlet pipe just runs inside and it is bent like a j. The j part had a couple of holes in it. The inlet pipe is a little big for an xb though. Also the inlet is on a different angle then stock or a racing exhaust. You maybe able to cut the ends off an xb muffler and get the guts out and make the new inlet like RR, but new ends back on. |

Did the inlet pipe extend into the body of the muffler all the way to the end or was it short? Was there any type of packing inside? Was it just one big open chamber? Thank you in advance for answering questions. Jim G. |

Yes that is how it looked. No packing inside just open space. Had some holes in the tube about 3/8" diameter, can't remember how many, but were on the straight part and the last curve. Hope this helps |

Thanks Mike. That helps a ton. I was actually thinking about doing something similar. But wasn't sure how good it would work. But now that I know it's been tried. I'll be making one. |
