Low sided on track and now my radiator hose on the left leaks where it attaches to the radiator. The pipe has a little dimple in it that distorts the connection with the hose. Any suggestions on some kind of sealant that I can use to plug the leak?

I'm thinking I'll take the hose off apply some goop and hope it seals when I tighten it up.

Can the metal be bent back?

I vote we move the radiator to behind the wheel in 2010.

If in fact it is just a bend/deform in the diameter of the connection...

I did the same just removing mine on a recent tear down. The factory seal is a tight one and seals like its fused...as it most surely was! Had to spend over 20 minutes a side and deformed the rad's hose connections.

Upon re-assembly, I simply reformed the rad's aluminum connection with careful application/force from channel locks. Finesse over the force tho!

This alloy is very malleable.

Hope this helps! mm

Get a screw down hose clamp from your auto parts store and clamp the hose down good. I removed the top left radiator hose and the stock clamp was too loose after stretching it to get the hose off. It had a slow leak until I replaced the said stock hose clamp. No leaks thusfar.
