...is DEFINITELY on for 10/26, as I last posted a month or two ago. Gomo's Saturday pre-ride is still on, as well... Route looks great, same as last year but we're organizing more individual small group heats to keep things safer. Oct. 26 should kick ass. |

This year I am bringing duct tape to tape the route sheets to your tanks/airboxes. There will most likely be no or limited route markers this year. This will be to avoid a "parade ride". Things are shaping up well, this will be a ride to remember. The leaves will be in all their fall splendor this year. Hey Blake, can we get a dedicated HH4 section in stormfronts???? |

Will there be a GPS download in addition to the paper map? Can't wait! |

What's the time frame for the ride? Start and end? Not sure if I can swing an overnight - might have to do a down and back in one day. |

Also, anyone coming down up or across early let us know so we can get some spirited riding in before the actual ride. |

I wonder why there aren't any of the southern folk reciprocating and coming north for a Bueller ride? What?? No Rednecks? |

I am riding in the area today and it is spectacular. Just stopped in here at Millwood (just starting to get a drew drops from the sky) and shot this coming up the Palisades. Tomorrow is supposed to be spectacular. I'm going to try to leave early and spend the day. With all the moisture we've had this year the colors are spectacular.
Taken near the State Park . . |

I hope the run is great. I will unfortuately be out of town the weekend - tried for some ting to get out of it but no-go. Tramp & JohnnyLunchbox have the Saturday routes sent to them all mapped out. You could probably have them email it to you for those with GPS's to load. Let me know how you like the route. It will take you into the Catskills through Woodstock and around the Ashokan Res. to the Gunks. Sad I'm going to miss it. http://www.skilledrider.net |
