Hmmm, I would consider the cherry bomb color conversion if they had the Uly windscreen. Post up some pics if you do the Hero Blue, it I would love to see them. |

Are you sure that is for the Uly and not Lightning? If it is I'll take one too. Where did your info. come from? |

I'm wondering if the model callouts are correct being any windscreen that would fit the "X" would also fit the "XT" and "XP". If so, why aren't they listed on the same line for fitments? All Uly windscreens listed should have fitments noted as: DX/FX/DB. Would be nice and would sure open up the color choices if in fact they are available. Here's hoping..... On a different note, my kid's still holding out hope that Buell will start making the STT number plates and forks protectors in Black (I gotta admit, that would look slick). Painting the plastic hasn't been working too well. (Message edited by prowler on October 15, 2008) |

It is because most of the setups have decals on them. As you see in the lightning list, they got cherry bomb listed twice, once for the cityx, and once for the lightning long. Same part, different decal. As for the Uly parts, I am guessing some will say XB12X, some will say XB12XT, and some XB12XP |

This is good news Froggy, thanks. In my '06 parts book the part numbers for the orange/black "flyscreens" match these part numbers for the "windscreens", so I guess they changed the nomenclature and you may be on to something here. I've always wanted that Hero Blue CityX intake cover with the tank bag pad that Buell for some reason won't sell separately, now maybe there's a flyscreen to go with it for the Uly! Of course I always liked Valencia Orange too... I think Molten Orange and Blue Streak were tuber colors. |

They would come out with clear plastic after I go to all the effort to make a unique Uly. Oh well, mine's cooler!

Am I wrong, or is Buell the only major maker with clear-plastic bodywork? Nice. |

You are correct. But the material is more important than the transparentosity . . . you can take the Buell body parts, bend them in half and they snap back perfectly. Ever seen a golf ball with body damage?

Or a big hitter. I can go 350. I've also hit cheap golf balls that have split clean in two. |

Blue Streak was a color offered on the 02 M2. I had that color so just thought I would jump in and answer that. |

That's off the charts cool . . . . I have some GREAT ideas I could do with that. . . . . how cool would it be to have Will the artist paint something akin to the schematic of the Death Star on the inside . . . . |
