Author Message   Chadprepton Posted on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 - 04:38 pm:        Hey guys, So I hit 7,500 miles after a ton of riding after I moved and I saw something in the bike's service manual that I need some help with. 'Idle Speed Adjustment' - Apparently I need a hand-held tachometer to do this. Can anyone just send me to a link for what I need (they suggest one from Snap-on but I can't figure out how to get to it) And yes I know this might now be necessary but I'm very obsessive about my blast. Thanks guys   Swampy Posted on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 - 05:08 pm:        Here is my story, Pull up to any other HD, have them rev their motor to 1,000-1,200 RPM and hold it, then adjust yours to sound like that. I don't even know what the stock setting is for idle RPM but I don't want to idle it much slower than that.
