I was at my dealer today and they had 3 08s (I'm only talking about 1125r's). They also had one 09 cr. I asked a salesman what kind of deal he could make me on an 08 and he responded $1000 off. Plus the normal set up etc. About 11,800 OTD without putting pencil to paper for hard figures. I thought there might be some better deals than that. Anyone know what other people are asking for the 08s? | ||

Thanks guys, there are some really good deals out there right now. I don't know if an 1125 is in my future or not. I know I want one. I do want to take another test drive, though. My first test drive was not that good. Either I don't have the riding technique for a bike like that down or the one I rode had problems. I am going to ride one at Biketoberfest this week and see what I think then. I kind of hope I hate it. It would make my life much simpler. I simply can't buy one and keep my FXDX right now. Also, I really like the white 09, but for a couple of thousand dollars I can like the 08 color scheme I guess. I am worried about the 08's. I know there was a flash released that is supposed to cure many of the 08 ills, but I am not clear what other differences I would miss out on if I bought an 08 instead of an 09. | ||

The left over 08's might just become more $'s if what I hear coming is true. They won't be "cheaper" then. Don't wait till the end of year...and I'm working real hard to keep my big trap shut. I only wish I had the coin to buy them all up right now for resale later! NOW is the time to buy Black & Blue Sig 11 08's! They are just as great as the 09's since the latest flash is here! Or you been under a rock somewhere? Expect it loaded before your next test ride...if not, politely (bitch slap! (joke  ), couldn't resist!) educate your local dealer and send them directly to BadWeb or HDnet. Paint jobs are cheap! So are swingarm spools. Insulation is now...not required! No BS folks, if you are on the fence of being a 1125R owner, buy a left over 08 ASAP. The price won't keep going down...similar to what we are seeing in petrol! | ||

If the question was directed at me, numbers. Haven't seen one that makes me 'gotta have it'. My life savings may end up in one of those big wood and concrete things with the 360 month payment plans. I'm also considering a member's XB12STT. It may be better for me at this time, especially in the land of straight roads, I just don't know. | ||
