Just got back, had a BLAST on my 1125R. Still have not touched knee but was getting real comfortable at every turn. That carousel turn was just excellent! I witnessed a buell rider on an 1125r get squirrely at the beginning of the straight away, hit the grass and somehow got back onto the pavement, lowsided and slide in front of me across the straightway. Hopefully he is alright but what a frightening view that is when its happening 6 feet in front of you. I found that I could keep leaning more and more, but would have to up the speed to carry the momentum. Unfortunately I was not ready for more speed on the turns. I did get a chance to wear my stock rear tire all the way to the edges. This bike has way too much power, I found myself using less throttle for fear of it lifting after every turn. |

Doesn't look like the official pics are online yet on buell.com. I know OdinBueller had a good time. I also know he's down one front fender. Not too often you can lose a piece of your bike and still smile about it. ->ChelleM |

The photos are not up yet, usually takes a few days. This will be the link: http://www.myinsidepass.com/g/coming_10_12_08_nj_m otorsports_park It was a great day out at the track. There however were a few too many buell owners/riders adventure riding(crashing) there bikes during the day. hope all of them are ok or heal up fast. The guy who lost it on the front strait is our own Steve Haines. He and his bike are "scuffed" and will both be back to 100% shortly. Hey Steve, now that its got some cosmetic blems it can officially be made in to a race bike... Team Haines Racing. It was good to see many familiar and some new faces. The track and weather were great, lunch was delish, the demos were great. Fun times. As if we didnt already know, The 1125R/CR are so much fun to ride, they should be illegal. Think I could sell a kidney for enough $$ to buy a 1125R? Seth |

That was a blast!! Even though I ended up loosing the front end in turn one. I didn't think I would like the high speed but it was fun(Much different from Loudon) I was a little aprehensive about running in the A group but felt comfortable as soon as I got going on the track. Mark and I got back to my place with no problems. I'm definetley going to do more Inside Pass next year!! Can't wait for the pics! Fish oil and Mag baby!! |

Great time even though I ate it right after Trac95ker in the next novice session on turn five. Low sided with minimal damage to bike and myself. Can't wait till next years inside pass. (hopefully it will be inside pass and not inside crash. |

I love the Inside Pass events. It is definitely the best trackday of the year. Plus the new NJMSP facility is top notch. Thanks to all the people who put these events together for us. And the Liberty HD/Buell crew for providing extra hospitality. Anthony C. truely is a mutant. See you guys soon. Pete |

Unlike my two more seasoned accomplises, I managed to be among the few that didn't crash, lol. I'm glad you guys made out with minimal damage to man and machine in both cases. I really learned a lot, got both knees down for the frist time ever and just had a blast. I'll be doing this again. The CR was GREAT - I think I was the only CR thre wasn't a demo. I was pushing the throttle too hard, but managed 130 on the straight, and around 100 in the bowl. Good times. |

Waiting to go in the morning.
I can see you!
Rich's (Trac95ker) crash site. Chatter chatter.
And where he and his bike laid to rest in the dirt. (sorry Rich - did you really expect me to keep these to myself?)
I can't WAIT for the official pics form Buell. (Message edited by xl1200r on October 13, 2008) |

Mark, no I didn't. That was the best 200' slide I ever did! It was a pleasant surprise to see the pics! Things are tightening up. I've got a nice bruise on my back. I don't know how I got it through my back protector. It's about seven inches long and an inch or so wide. Can't wait to see it tomorrow! The wife didn't rip my head off so I'm down for more next year! |

Right now, this is one of my favorites of the day - my nice goobery tire. I'll work on getting you guys the full-res pictures I took - there's a lot of the bikes. |

What a great day for flogging someone elses bike on a track. Having just bought an 09 Uly X that won't be delivered 'till December/January and never having ridden one before I was afforded the opportunity to ride one in every session. Thank you Eric, you went above and beyond to see that i had a great day, I did. |

This event was spectacular. When is the next Inside Pass day? The event was professionally managed and the track was great. My brother and I brought out our Cyclones and had the time of our lives. Surprisingly very few old school buells out there. Am I just behind the times? |

Hey Jaybooch, Yes, not too many "tubers". But ocbueller on his X1 and myself on my M2 were getting it on in the novice division. I think we chatted briefly during one of the breaks. One of you had a 1250 kit with Millenium cylinders. Both your bikes were red and had rear sets and other performance goodies. Good to see the "tuber" group out there making their presence known. Looking forward to another Buell Inside Pass event. |

D'oh! Looks like you can't directly link to the pictures. Too bad, it's a textbook photo representation of a 7 year old tuber getting ready to pass an 1125R on the outside! I had a great time stalking you down, Pete! |

Billfish, Actually 1 of our bikes is red the other blue. We rode the novice class also. Our M2s are mostly stock with pipes, jetting and I run a hypercharger. I sure gained more appreciation for my bike after taking it to my first track day. All kinds of winter projects have been filling my head since we left the track Sunday. How did your M2 hold up? |

First off.. when I linked it.. it worked.. Must be something from when YOU looked at it.. and one of these days, when we're on a track again.. and I suddenly feel like really running.. we'll see.. we'll see.. Oh man... the look on your face just now was priceless!! Oh man, it was a good day and at least that spat of get offs didn't have anyone seriously hurt (at least not that I know of) and everyone seemed to really enjoy the day.. I know I did.. Now then.. Moose.. Dude, when you gonna come South and I can show you guys some roads.. and my local tracks.. hehehehe... Oh and my other offer stands.. |

Jaybooch, OK, so you guys ran in novice also, great. My M2 ran fine without any problems, the same with my buddy ocbueller with his X1. This was my 5th track day in 8 years, 3rd all Buell event. Looking forward to another Inside Pass event next season @ NJMP. We'll bring back our "tubers"!!! |

Actually My buddy and I had the Red M2 with the rear sets and the Red X1 Race stripe with rear sets in the Intermediate level. I was happy to see that the 10 yr. old M2 could keep up and often times overtake out of the corners. Guess I should thank Nallin actually. |

Hey Pete! I have to admit, you do have the weapon of choice in a track day duel! But I had a blast regardless! Passing or being passed, what a track! I would love to come down to VIR and you can show me the line of choice. I just need the time to get away! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm... going fast... |
