I just bought an 06 Uly and the original 2 year warranty runs out soon . Can you buy the extended warranty on your bike any time before the 2 years is up , or do you have to get it when you originally purchase the bike? I know its easy to work on and i have the service manuel , just not the time |

DON'T DO IT! Extended warranties are a joke for our bikes. Each one is different, but read the fine print, they don't cover anything that is likely to break. Belt snaps, bearings fail, fan wears out? Wear items, your on your own. Also, most of them have a deductable, so your out some cash no matter what. What really blows, is what happened to me, I bought one with my bike brand new. Got into a wreck 7 months later, went to cancel it and they only gave a small portion back. I was still a year and a half away from it going into effect! Save your money, short of the bike ripping in half you will come out ahead. |
