We got some snow yesterday and I took the dog out to play in it and got some good pictures. I think she looks adorable. Had to share. Yes I'm one of those weird dog owners who thinks their dog is queen of the world. So sue me. I think they are cute. Thanks for looking. |

Yellow Labs rock. I had one for about 13 years, and cared for a friend's for a year or two. |

They are gorgeous pics. And a very nice dog. We have just got a black lab pup. Five months of attitude and energy! Pic six is showing a little of her Cujo side I think though!? Dogs are such good subjects, they are so expressive. Nice. V |

Great pics! We used to have a mutt- his mom was a full-blooded Alaskan Malamute and his dad must have been a yellow lab. He LOVED the snow. I can remember seeing him lying in our front yard IN the snow, after having crashed through the ice on the stream across from our house, panting! Here's to good dogs and good dogs who have passed on. |

What Firebolt32 said. Two dachshunds, Very smart dogs, it only took them 3 hours to train me. They would get lost in four inches of snow! |

Dogs (golden labs in particular) are smarter, more reliable and more fun than most people. I miss mine often. When it came to the point where work was preventing me from giving Misty, my champagne Golden Lab the care and attention she needed and deserved, I put an ad in the paper for about $200 more than she was worth, which was a lot as she was papered. Anyway, several folks called and were rejected by me. One day, this old dude called and said he was looking for that kind of dog for his grandson. They lived on a farm in the boondocks and had lots of acres. They came to meet Misty and they all fell in love. When the old dude took out his checkbook I said "you don't need that. Misty, load up". She did. Damn, I miss that dog but she got what she deserved. |

I miss my Great Dane, I had to put her down just last month. She was 12, had bone cancer, she was 135 lbs of love and friendship. When the twin boys were just starting to crawl they would make her the target, she would put up with ear and tail pulls but the bonus was the twins would actually curl up next to her and fall asleep with Shelia watching over them. she was better than any sitter we ever had. |
