It's the Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada. I'd like to share some of the things I am thankful for. I'm thankful for my family and my friends. I'm thankful for my health. Although in the last three weeks, my Mother-In-Law has been diagnosed with bladder cancer, and my wife has been diagnosed with Lupus, has discovered a lump on her breast and may need eye surgery for Macular Degeneration. I'm thankful that I live in a civilized nation that is affording the best care available for these two fine women and I am hopeful and optimistic of a positive outcome. I'm thankful that I live in a great country that shares a border with another great country, the U.S. of A. I'm thankful for my Buell and the sense of freedom and independence it has afforded me after being without a bike for so long. I'm thankful for all of you on the BadWEb who, although I have never met most of you, have made me feel part of another bigger family that circles the globe. Sometimes the world outside of our front doors can be a harsh place. This forum is an oasis of good vibes, and fellowship that I have come to depend on when I need a little boost. Thank you all.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Just imagine, you get a day to stop and think about those things that are going on in your life.
I hope your family members will heal. A good first step is to be under great medical care. After that, it is the dedication of the patients to get well that counts.
We have a few weeks before we celebrate Thanksgiving. Your post made me think of it and start looking forward to it.
Life is good, if you let it be and I definitely second the thought on how fortunate it is to have a Buell motorcycle.
