As Dyna suggests, the REALLY hard part is just starting: keeping the weight off. In your case, the dedication you showed in a long slow reducing plan, (the only kind that works), shows that you hopefully are one of the few that has the gumption to stay thin. Great for the heart as well. Keep up the good work. You and your bike are looking great. |

Congrats man! I lost 45#s over the past year, and what a difference. My back, knees and ankles don't hurt nearly as much as they used to. I can only imagine what 100#s feels like! Perhaps a before and after are in order. LOL! As was said above keeping it off is the real bitch!!! Good luck, and keep your eyes on the prize! Schmitty |

I really don't have any good before pics unfortunately. Something about being over 300 pounds makes you shy away from a camera. |

Badlons- I weighed in at 290 today. Because of you I have started on the South Beach Diet and I cycled to my daughter's school with the 2 girls in tow. 7 miles round trip dosent sound like much - but when you are fat and out of shape... you know. Anyway thanks for your inspiration! I'm on my way down in weight loss as well. |
