I think the whole bike is about 450 dry and I have pulled one from an M2. I would not want to lift one by myself. I would guess 200 + pounds. I hope this helps I never thought to weigh it but will the next time I pull one. |

I remember reading somewhere that the Evo Sportster motor weighed @ 175lbs. Mind you this was before the Firebolt. |

I would guess around 125. 175 seems too high. I have picked one up off the floor, which wouldn't have been as easy if it was 175. |

OK I pulled one today and weighed it. Drumroll please. 180 pounds right out of the frame. OK now lets find out what the air in the tires weighs. And is it the front or rear. |

You guys need to eat your wheaties in the morning. I carried my motor from the building I parked the bike in, about 200 feet to the front yard and set it in the back of the truck. (Message edited by creature_x1 on October 28, 2008) |

I saw Clint Eastwood do that in a movie once. (I've decided to take the heads off again to put mine back in the frame.) |

Thanks for weighing that engine James, it's nice to know now and hopefully we can remember it for the next dude that comes along with the same question... (In the winter I can't ride my motorcycle to work, so I carry it, it's a good way to warm up before I have to deal with the prisoners...) |
