Once again I'm thankful for the technical knowledge on this site. My 25R got a flat two weeks ago and I've been wondering how to take care of it (I keep it about 30 minutes from where I live and I've been too busy to check it out since now) I finally checked it out today, and sure enough there was a little triangular piece of plastic, like from a broken headlight. I got pretty upset once I realized what it was, because on my last ride, I had to get directed through an accident scene. Apparently it wasn't cleaned very well So yeah, I used the plug kit a lot of the guys here recommend and it worked well. It was the first tire I've ever done, and it wasn't too bad. I did several leak tests after, and all is good. Man, it's nice to be back on the road!

I've had good results with pluging both front and back tires on my bikes. For many people, they equate that with instant death. In my experience, not so. Yet. Rob |

Just watch it. I have plugged one right in the center of the contact patch, ran it for another 3000 miles (hard) then when it was time to change, burn out'ed it till the cords were showing, and couldn't get the plug to fail. But do watch it. R |

Alright, thanks Pridayr. I've only got another 1,000 or so until a new tire is due. I'm definitely dreading paying the $300-350.... |

"Alright, thanks Pridayr. I've only got another 1,000 or so until a new tire is due. I'm definitely dreading paying the $300-350...." ??????? You need to find another source for tires....these are not Buell specific like the Diablo T's were as far as I know. |

seems like I was paying about 130-150 for the tire, and 40-60 to mount for ContiRoadAttack R |
