Well, I picked the bike up on Saturday, and yesterday (Wednesday) I clicked the magic 600-mile mark. Took me five days, but keeping in minf all of the extra parts I've installed and the apple picking I had to do on Saturday afternoon and bday parties and what not, I think I've done pretty good. I'm dropping her off for the first service tonight, I'll pick it up tomorrow, and the Saturday I head down for the Inside Pass track day in NJ. 10,500rpm, here I come! |

See you Sunday at NJMP. You can expect to see 110 through the bowl and 150-155 on the front strait on an 1125. Seth |

Hit 130-ish on the straight, something around 90-100 in the bowl. AWESOME track. |

The wind gets pretty brutal. Its gets noticable annoying around 105-110, but livable for short bursts. I wanted to go for more, but I was concentrating more on corner speed and my lines rather than going all out on the throttle and braking hard. I never went past 9000 rpm or so, and I don't think I was ever WOT unless I wanted to pass someone quick on the straight. I wasn't ever passed by anyone unless I was stuck behind a slower rider and didn't feel sure enough to go for the pass. I think once I had an instructor get around me on the going into turn 1. I was a great time - can't wait to do it again. |
