Hey Northwesterners - Don't let Ferris et al twist your tails. As you can see from the photo (taken yesterday in Yosemite National Park), winter-like weather has hit central California early and hard. Dino, i was sniffing around Sequoia Nat'l Park yesterday on the VFR, at altitudes up to 6700+ feet (General Sherman Tree and Lodgepole Village), and IT ONLY GOT UP TO 65 DEGREES -- BRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know it's not quite winter, tho, as i had the liner with me but never had to zip it in. and snuggle-bunnies? yep, there were a few... Vancouver area Buellers! There's a toy run this Sunday from Chilliwack to Abbotsford. There are some pretty sweet roads in the area and I for one am going to take advantage as long as it's not pouring. Anyone from the Vancouver area in? Well just got home from a pre splash ride, Chris was able to script the first 190 mi. of our map. It will be nice to distribute route sheets and tell people have a good time see ya all in Packwood. Matt I thought about you today while haulin butt through Wind River. Ferris you had better bring Ducati boy with ya to splash next year. Fireman Jim also needs to represent.
