Casey,i missed that post.It was great fun riding the X1.I think it handles best of all my bikes.truly do. Did it ever "really" rain today? I swear i saw hints of dry road in most places? That loop could be sick in the dry.And the big...."without traffic".We should try a track day together. It'd be fun on a closed course.

Yeah...Sorry i didn't offer condolences earlier.I'd be out of my mind. Whatever you DO buy,do not accept it without it being fitted with proper load bearing spring(s?)

I'm glad i gave you some humor during a tough time. I was serious about your spring rate though.Your bike squatted quite a bit it seemed.A proper spring would correct that.Just ask FireboltEric_MA.Not only is he a big guy,but he subs at a suspension shop

I changed out my rear brake switch along with lubing the clutch cable and adjusting. While in there, I noticed what looks like some kind of rubbing. is this normal??

Jeff, that's normal.I hope when you adjusted that throw out bearing screw at the center of the pic,you backed it off after seating to 1/2 turn. Last winter,i thought i could get just a little more throwout by NOT backing off CCW enough after seating. Then...we broke the primary cover from being too tight. And...I accepted a position today at the shop in Franklin i'd been eyeing.Paid uniforms, and a personal tool expense account amongst other bennies.I pushed the start forward to the 20th
