This weekend at my first trackday I noticed on the second afternoon that I would get an engine light after a couple of laps. I would enter the pits, shut off, and restart. The light was gone. Is this normal? What should I do? Thanks, Doug |

Did you remove the noid and was there anytime you were in 3rd gear at the 'correct' RPM for it to kick on if it had been connected? Review the code(s) in Diagnostic mode to be sure, but betting that's what it was. |

I just tried to get into diagnostic mode. All I could get was the setup menu. Would this mean there are no codes to see? And, yes the noid is gone. Thanks for the help. |

De-noiding your bike will make the CEL come on under certain conditions. |

Doug - Hold the mode and toggle as you turn on in "run" or "park". Same as setup, but with the engine OFF. Z |

Did you take out any fuses for the track day? If you removed the brake / horn fuse the speed sensor does not work and will cause the CEL. If you take out the head light fuse the bike will not start. |

Z, after doing a little research on this list I see that my error codes are the same as yours. Nothing to worry about. Walt, I'm trying to pull off the trackday thing so that the bike is easily convertible (for now). Would like to avoid any fuse work. So none of mine are out. |
