For planning purposes sound off if you are going to make Round-up in the Rockies. (of course with no firm dates this is just preliminary planning only) Frank |

I'd love to, but I've got a lot going on next summer--kid's getting married and I'm building a new house. Maybe in my spare time... rt |

I will be keeping that time frame open as well to try and make it. I may not have this bike, but I hope to have another by then. |

I'm planning on making it. Of course it's next June so stuff could happen, but . . . I've already calculated remaining tire wear and estimated mileage between now and then and I can flatten out the old tires then get new ones put on out there if I've done the math correctly. |

I'm interested. I'll have to see though... I missed the 25th to do my west coast trip... Don't know if I can do Homecoming and the Rockies in the same year or not. I would like to finally get to see the top of Mt. Evans though! |

Kim and I would love to...but right now, with work being as iffy as it is, I hesitate to say. Save me an XL and a L tee, though |

Emmer, we will try to get a group photo of all the S2s and owners that attend Homecoming next year. Other than that not really much planned besides the great stuff Buell and HD do for us. Frank |

Interesting weekend.... I did not get a chance to work on my new S2. I broke one toe and bruised up the others. All I was doing was walking in the living room and decided to run into the coffee table. The bad thing is I was sober so it felt the pain and heard the bone break. I am now limping around on a cane. Of course my riding buddies decided to stop by to go for a ride today LOL.... Since I am taking it easy this weekend trying to stay off the foot. I came up with this.... Post corrections, deletions and additions.

Frank, That really sucks, I can almost feel your pain! Count me in. Like I said, I'll find a way to work with what's scheduled.

Frank, count me in too please. Maybe we can organize a trailer for 2-4 S2s going out from the Midwest... For those who don't have enough time or stamina for a 3000 Mile roundtrip :-)

Cornel, will add you to the list. It would be great to see you again. Great idea about getting a trailer and a few bikes together. Brad, I figured you would be on board. Just to let everyone know I sent an email to Kim up in Breckenridge last night. There are a couple of reasons why I am looking at that place. Kim and his wife, are active motorcyclist, they manage a couple of condos up there, the weather is great in June (before the rainy season and after the cold) a lot of great roads, under ground covered parking, a place to work on the bikes and a small convention area. Oh, and sign me up for a medium t-shirt. Once the dates solidify maybe the Texas riders and I can set up a place and time to meet and ride out together. With Tom in Houston and Jay in Austin, I would think Amarillo to be somewhat along the way. What do you two think? |

Bart, that red S2 fender is not stock! LOL. Is that an American Sport Bike fender or airtech? It looks in shape a lot like my American Sport Bike carbon fibre one. |

Ross, looks like a stock 95 fender to me? What's different? |

well, after some research today it may be a stock fender. I read that sometime in '95 they updated the front fender for whatever reason. The earlier ones look like the American Sport Bike design. (Message edited by phelan on October 07, 2008) |

Your red fender looks like my red fender....and as far as I can tell, my bike has all original bodywork on it. |

must be a design feature of the early part numbers then... if you look at Bart's red one compared to the green one or white one you can see that the red fender is considerably rounder than the others. Also the later style does not have holes to get the allen heads through at the lower mount. Instead the lip is flared out enough to stick the allen in behind it. My original S2 fender was like this later design. |

All 3 of my S2's have stock bodywork, with stock colors, red snap, ice white pearl, and carribean candy blue... |

Frank, Breckenridge is an excellent choice to base the event. Thunder in the Mountains was based there for a few years and being centrally located made all the day rides a nice range. That was where I met up with Brad when I was looking for someone to ride out there from the Midwest with. I won't be riding an S2 but Brad was looking for someone to go out there with him. |
