thats just what i love to hear... after getting absolutely nothing special from my stealership for buying my bike in may. i have a stupid high interest rate, had to pay 2k down, and i owe more than what they are GOING OUT THE DOOR FOR TAX INCLUDED at the moment. i didnt even get a hat. so what i need to do, is total my bike; get the insurance money to pay off my current loan, and then go buy another 1125 for a steal!!! |

Make sure your bike is a comp. claim (act of nature) so your rates don't go up. |

lightning strike or stolen is the best way. i parked it there overnight and it was gone. i got mine last december at list price and do not regret it one bit. i've had a great time so far. however, a good deal is still a good deal!! tim |

OMG, Buell is the only company that offers incentives at the end of a model year! I didn't know they were gonna do this. Standard fare there Pizzaboy, at the end of the model year, everything must go. Every vehicle mfg does it, and has been for years. At some point you have to quit waiting for the best deal and ride. |

Porsche is currently moving 2008 models VERY aggressively, like 15% off MSRP. Buy a Porsche, drive it through the winter and get a bike in the spring . . . |

I bought my '06 Ulysses in November of '05. I got a decent deal, but if I'd have waited, I could have picked up a used one cheaper. But what the heck....the Ulysses is paid for now, so I could care less what I paid for it. I just ride it. What sucks is when you are making payments on a bike that's not meeting your needs and you can't get rid of it. I used to be a big bike payment guy, then I decided that it was a bad idea to finance my toys. If times get hard, I won't have to sell my bike because I can't make the payments. Hard times are EXACTLY when you need a bike. |
