I was told there is no race kit for the 1125. Call Henry Duga. He likes to talk about this stuff. |

Shoot Glendale HD/Buell a note. They have an deal with Catalyst Racing Composites. Otherwise, you have to call Duga but remember, ANYTHING you order from Buell Racing has to be ordered and received by a dealer. You cannot order directly EVEN WITH a racing license. The racers that get parts off the van still have to have a sponsoring dealer who gets the bill - but that being said, Henry is very helpful though you may save a little time and headache for him if you have your dealer call since he'd have to order it for you anyway. (also, I just don't think Buell Racing is offering full bodywork just yet - you'd need to go to Catalyst, Shark Skinz, and that Canadian company that made Ruthless Racing/Deely bodywork) (Message edited by slaughter on October 03, 2008) |

Buell did indicate there were "over 500" racing parts that would be coming for the 1125R. |

Be fun to call Suzuki . . . tell them you are a customer and ask to speak to the head of racing. At Buell you simply get patched through . . . be curious to see how it'd be received other places . . . |

Does Suzi sell race kits for their GSXR1000? Yes they do, as does Yamaha, Kawasaki & Honda. You may get blank looks at your local dealer, but they are available and extremely comprehensive, covering engine, chassis, specialist tools and even downloads of technical manuals etc(depending upon bike/model/series spec of course), not just a loud pipe. Take a look here at the Yamaha offerings for example: http://www.yamaha-racingparts.com/ |

Buell will be offering a significant number of race parts for the 1125, everything you need for a number of different classes. The very first and best upgrades are the 2015 racing brake pads, which have proven to work on racing 1125s at hard-on-the-brakes tracks such as Daytona and Elkhart; they're available now. After that there is a chain-drive kit, which is more than 30 parts itself. It is designed for quick wheel changes; an experienced endurance racing team can get the rear wheel changed in less than 10 seconds with the kit parts. The first batch of these sold out; a second batch is being made now. The race ECM is available now if you have a racing license; engine parts are coming. Full fairings in carbon and glass will be available this fall. The GP shift kit is currently in stock, as is the steering damper kit. |

Where do I get the part number from for these parts. most of the dealers over here are not that helpful , so tend not to look to hard. and how do i get in touch with Henry Duga.} |

Call Trevor @ flexiglass in Vancouver Canada. He does fiberglass for the Canadian National team and us. Carbon is good if you have a big wallet and NEVER crash. |

Hi Anonymous:-) That is great to here that Buell Racing has already sold a batch of chain conversion kits. I'm in Australia and still trying to get an idea of pricing for one, any clues as to how much US$ ? Also does the GP shift require a change of shift drum or just the index shim? I am under the impression it will give me a 6 down race pattern? |
