i know this is dumb but I'm going to ask. i have a 08 1125r should i be able to ride the bike with the kickstand down? i would think like other sport bikes that the bike would die if i tried. let me know. |

The domestic (US) version of the 1125R runs even if the sidestand is down... but it is designed to retract if leaned on. Probably best to make sure it's up (I've taken off a couple of times with it down). |

First time I did that it scared the cr@p out of me... I made it all the way across a BIG parking lot, and could not figure out what the racket was.... R |

Don't feel bad, I've done it once after getting fuel. I was in a hurry and didn't my pre launch sequence *lol* routine. Lesson learned. |
