Just realized as much as I've learned from you guys I don't know. Maybe it just sounds cool? But I'll ask just incase it does mean something. |

X-Brace. If you look at an XB frame from the top with the airbox and seat removed you'll see an X-shaped brace that spans the two frame rails. |

The "x" is in referance to the frame design, If you remove the airbox outer and Inner you can see the X across the top of the motor, and the B is for Buell might not want to quote me but Im like 80% on this one. |

I dig how the frame to swingarm and the tail to fairing chin of the R forms an X. I know it has nothing to do with the name, it's just good form. |
