You are supposed to take the visor off the Arai Tour-X for the touring part and put it back on when you gets to the Adventure bit. But mostly it just looks wicked. The Cydave. (Message edited by danger_dave on September 30, 2008) |

I've enjoyed mine for a couple of years now. I have no problem doing the ton with the visor attached. Just got to keep it pointed at the right attitude. It is nice to be able to wear moto-x goggles under the visor in the spring when my allergies are acting up. |

Yeah - I've had it for 18 months and never got around to taking it off before. |

That is cool, got mine used and no plates for running without the visor though. I have no problem with it at 100mph either. Good neck exercise. |

No plates necessary, just remove visor and replace the plate that is already there. Mine are clear. Also there is clearance for the strap. (Oops, didn't notice the folded strap when I took the picture.) (Message edited by hexangler on September 30, 2008) |

I just got a Shoei Hornet (same basic concept) to wear when I ride the KLX. It's a great helmet and a good compromise between an MX helmet and a street helmet. |

Yup, the Shoei is a good one too! |
